From 1988 to 1994, New Music Theatre (now Zakros InterArts) revived classic interdisciplinary music theater works by such 20th century composers as Mauricio Kagel, Karlheinz Stockhausen and John Cage. NMT also premiered works of its own pioneering the integration of live performance and interactive media. NMT showcased many of the leading composers and media artists of our time including: John Cage, Brian Eno, Richard Felciano, Morton Subotnick, Pauline Oliveros, Ramon Sender, Tony Martin, Terry Riley, Zakir Hussain, Gordon Mumma, Alvin Curran, Stuart Dempster, and many others.
